:: What It Takes To Be An X Games Volunteers ::
- Volunteers are expected to be available for the full day. Check in starts approximately 1 hour before the venue gates open and your shifts will be approximately 8 hours long although they could be longer depending on the competition schedule. You should only commit as a volunteer if you are able to volunteer for at least 2 days of the event and be available for a minimum of 8 hours each day.
- Volunteers must be available for a training session (date TBD) prior to the event. This training session will include an exclusive behind the scenes venue tour as well as an opportunity to meet all supervisors for the event.
- Your duties may vary throughout the day. We cannot guarantee that you will always have the opportunity to see the competition. So please keep this in mind when committing as a volunteer.
- Assist spectators and credentialed guests with event information. After check in, volunteers will be briefed to the various services and locations available at the event.
- Be prepared to work in all weather conditions, most competitions will take place outside.
- Be in good physical condition and able to stand for long periods of time.
- Be committed to the success of the event by completing your assignment(s).
- Volunteers need to be adaptable and flexible. Assignments change throughout the day based on the event needs. At times, there are competition or weather delays, so it's expected that volunteers be flexible with their time.
- Helpful and friendly in every capacity.
